Plastic Coil "Telephone" Cord Purses

Plastic coil purses are often dated to the 1940s. While it's true that's when they began, we've found newspaper advertisements that bring them all the way into 1960! Also, "telephone cord," which is what many people call them today, is an anachronistic misnomer. It was likely created by someone from a later time who thought that's what the purses look like, so that's what they should be called!
